Meet our team
Connecting an individual’s return to activity goals, whether an elite athlete or weekend warrior with the correct treatments, exercise, and movement patterns is my everyday priority. The focus of my care is in identifying movement and pain dysfunctions in orthopedic patients across the age spectrum. Because of my lifelong involvement in the soccer community through coaching and sports medicine (Sounders U23, Sounder Women’s College, club), many of my patients are soccer athletes returning back to play from acute or overuse injuries. Our Starfire Clinic is a state-of-the-art facility that hosts the Seattle Sounders First Team, Sounders U23’s, Sounder Women and Academy strength and conditioning efforts. We specialize in testing and preparing detailed treatment protocol for athletes, such as ACL reconstruction, ACL prevention programs, adolescent overuse injuries, and more.

Director of Sports Performance
I am a dedicated strength and conditioning professional that completed my Bachelor's degree in Exercise and Fitness, accompanied by a minor in Nutrition for Performance at San Jose State University. I initially delved into the field by working with both the general adult population seeking fitness enhancement and elite youth and professional hockey players. Following a move to Seattle, I transitioned my expertise to continue serving adults and general populations. Concurrently, I shifted my focus from hockey players to training youth, collegiate, and professional soccer players. This dynamic shift allowed me to refine my strategies in a new sporting context, where I honed my skills in optimizing performance, preventing injuries, and fostering athletic development.

Athletic Trainer
"I'm Fernando, Athletic Trainer with MVP PT. I was born and raised throughout Southern Idaho and attended school in Idaho as well. I graduated from Idaho State University in 2023 with my Master's of Science in Athletic Training. Through the program, I attained skills and expertise covering a wide variety of sports ranging from community sporting events up to professional soccer with the Sounders. My girlfriend, Sammantha, and I moved to Washington following graduation. In my spare time, I enjoy playing soccer, golf, basketball, hiking, going to concerts, attending Sounders, Reign, and Mariners games, or hanging out with my pets."
